Dans son mémoire soumis au Groupe-conseil sur la Politique du patrimoine culturel du Québec, l'Association des archivistes du Québec (AAQ) met en évidence le rôle essentiel que jouent les archives dans la constitution du patrimoine culturel. Le mémoire s'articule en cinq parties: Culture, patrimoine et archives; Le partage des responsabilités dans la constitution du patrimoine archivistique; Une expérience archivistique au service de la gestion du patrimoine: l'évaluation; L'accessibilité des archives et Le patrimoine archivistique dans le monde des technologies et des communications. En tout, douze recommandations sont présentées par l'AAQ afin que s'établisse un partenariat entre les divers intervenants et que les archives occupent une juste place au sein de la Politique du patrimoine culturel du Québec.
In its memoir submitted to the Study Group on Québec's cultural heritage policy, l'Association des archivistes du Québec (AAQ) demonstrates the essential role of archives in the constitution of cultural patrimony. The memoir is presented in five sections: Culture, Heritage, and Archives; The Delegation of Responsibility in the Constitution of the Archival Patrimony; An Archival Experiment at the Service of Heritage Management: Evaluation; Accessibility of Archives, and The Archival Patrimony in the World of Technology and Communications. In all, twelve recommendations are presented by the AAQ with a view to the constitution of a partnership among the various heritage professions and to the establishment of archives in their rightful place at the heart of Québec's policy on cultural heritage.
