Mission and mandate

The Communications Committee is responsible for managing the AAQ's various platforms: websites, the AAQ Newsletter, the Convergence blog, the YouTube channel, podcasts and social media. The Committee writes and/or edits content for these various media. The Committee also works with other members of the Board of Directors to promote the Association through various projects.

Functions

The Communications Committee is responsible for

  • develop and implement the AAQ's communications strategies;
  • coordinate Web content creation and dissemination activities;
  • publish content on the AAQ's various social networking platforms;
  • support the various AAQ committees in their website and social network publishing processes to help promote their activities;
  • accept or reject submitted texts and notify authors where appropriate.
