Call for contributions to the Chronique d'archives of the next edition of the Revue d'histoire de l'Amérique française (RHAF)
The AAQ invites its members to take note of the call for contributions below:
Hello everyone,
I would like to announce the preparation of the next issue of the Revue d'histoire de l'Amérique française (RHAF). In order to help me write the next Chronique d'archives, would you be so kind as to send me, no later than October 31ofyour most recent acquisitions of private and public archives, or any other information of interest to historians of French America.
I invite you to submit to me your acquisitions of private and public fonds that you consider most significant for the clientele of this magazine. The information to be provided is as follows: titles, dates and collations of the fonds or series, a short description of two to four sentences or five to 10 lines maximum telling us the Scope and Content of the recently acquired fonds. The information must be precise and concise to attract the reader's attention.
Here's an example:
Denise Leblanc fonds ( P42). - 1976-1984. - 9.90 linear meters of textual documents. - other documents.
The fonds documents Ms. Leblanc's activities as a member of the National Assembly for the riding of Îles-de-la-Madeleine from 1976 to 1984.
The fonds is made up of files on citizens of the riding and files on the MNA's interventions at the National Assembly.
This data should preferably be sent by e-mail as an attachment.
