Call for entries Memory of the World 2025-2026

The Canadian Commission for UNESCO is pleased to announce the launch of the 2025-2026 call for nominations to Canada's Memory of the World Register.

Canada's Memory of the World Register showcases documentary heritage of national significance. Inclusion in the Register raises public awareness both of the documents listed and of the importance of their preservation and accessibility. Successful applicants will receive a certificate of registration.

The deadline for submitting an expression of interest is January 31, 2026. Please note that a new Expression of Interest form has been created and is available on our website.

Successful candidates will be invited to complete the nomination form, which will close at the beginning of August 2026.
