Election 2024 - Representation of AAQ student and recent graduate members
A few words about the position
The role of the representative of student and recent graduate members of the Association des archivistes du Québec is to act as a link between the Association's governing bodies and its student and recent graduate members. The representative must therefore :
- Inform student and recent graduate members of matters of interest to the Association;
- Inform the Association of student and recent graduate members' activities, expectations and proposals;
- Coordinate the student session at the AAQ annual convention;
- Organize activities relevant to the needs of student and recent graduate members;
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Board or Executive Committee.
The representative is a student member or recent graduate elected by the student members for a 1-year term.
The requirements
- Be a member of the AAQ
- Be a student or recent graduate (within the last two years) at the time of nomination.
To nominate a candidate
To nominate yourself or someone else, you must complete the nomination form (ci-bas) and include the endorsement of another student member. You must then send the completed form to Isabelle Dion, Assembly Commissioner: Isabelle.dion@umontreal.ca. Nominations are open until October 21, 2024.

Election
- If there is only one valid nomination, the person is elected by acclamation.
- If there is more than one valid nomination, elections will be held by digital means.
