The Association of Canadian Archivists (ACA) calls for poster proposals for "ACA at 50: Critical Reflections, Envisioning the Future" conference

The AAQ invites its members to take note of the following press release issued by the ACA in preparation for their 50th convention, to be held from June 9 to 12, 2025:

The 2025 program team invites you to submit poster proposals that reflect the theme of ACA at 50: critical reflections, vision of the future. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your repository, digitization project, research project or other initiative, and to share your work with colleagues from across the country.

Up to 10 poster submissions will be selected for display at the ACA 2025 Conference Poster Session, June 9-12, 2025, in person at Richcraft Hall, Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada.

The deadline for submissions is February 10, 2025, 11:59 p.m.

What is a poster?

A poster presentation is one in which information is summarized using text and images, and presented in a poster format. It's a great opportunity to highlight your repository, digitization project, research project or other initiative, and share your work with colleagues across the country.

● Information is summarized using text and images and presented in PDF format, with a maximum file size of 25 MB.

● Digital files must be of high resolution and legible when viewed on a standard computer screen.

● Posters are displayed in a virtual session and presenters will have ten (10) minutes to discuss their work with conference attendees.
