The Association of Canadian Archivists launches its call for proposals for its 2025 conference
As we approach our 50th anniversary, the ACA would like to take this opportunity to celebrate what they have achieved, how the profession has changed over time, and how the concepts of archives and records have changed and evolved. The anniversary is also an opportunity to take a critical look at the current state of archival work. Where are we now? What impact has the ACA had on communities, other disciplines and generations within and alongside archives? Imagine what our profession will be like when the ACA is 100 years old. This conference should be a gathering place for new generations of archivists, established professionals, stakeholders and community members. We encourage collaborative proposals that include these different perspectives.
The ACA 2025 team invites proposals that reflect the theme of ACA at 50: Critical Reflections, Envisioning the Future.
