The AAQ invites its members to take note of the publication of the 4th edition of Lingua franca: A common language for photographic conservators by Library and Archives Canada,

This e-book provides multilingual definitions of photographic processes, conservation conditions, treatments, examination techniques and preventive care. It also includes commonly used terms, accompanied by short definitions and illustrated examples in the form of photographs and interactive elements: links to collection items, podcasts, videos, blog posts and Flickr albums.
